Warranty Info

Alvarez Construction Co. provides every homeowner a 5-2-1 warranty as required by the Louisiana New Home Warranty Act. The warranty is as follows:

• 5 YEARS: Five years following the warranty commencement date, the home will be free from major structural defects due to non-compliance with the building standards or due to other defects in material or workmanship not regulated by building standards.
• 2 YEARS: Two years following the warranty commencement date, the plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling and ventilating systems exclusive of any appliance fixture, and equipment will be free from any defect due to non-compliance with the building standards or due to other defects in material or workmanship not regulated by building standards.
• 1 YEAR: One year following the warranty commencement date, the home will be free from any defect due to noncompliance with the building standards or due to other defects in materials or workmanship not regulated by building standards.

Note: Some items come with a manufacturer’s warranty that can extend past our warranty.
