Alvarez Construction: Community Builders
What does the word “community” mean to you? For us at Alvarez Construction Company, it means a few things.
First, we commonly refer to groups of homes in a subdivision as communities like Cella Gardens or Deer Trail. It can also allude to the elements that make up the city or parish where we choose to build. But most importantly, it is the combination that creates a desirable home for our neighbors in Baton Rouge.
In more than 25 years of building homes, we have been guided by our core principles: build together, give together and win together. We believe that these three are vital to the success of a community.
We start by building the homes and building a business that we can be proud of. We give back through yearly events with the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and McMains Children’s Development Center. We win every time we see a new homeowner take the keys and add their own lives to the mix.
And now, we hope to capture all three phases through our new vlog series called “A Day With Alvarez.”
Here you will see first-hand how our company works and what we are working on day-to-day. The first three installments have been posted on our social media accounts and they are now live on YouTube as well.
What to expectEach vlog is about two minutes long and has its own theme. They will usually include scenes from around the office as well as introductions to staff members. By the end, we hope you recognize every smiling face that you might run into throughout your journey of home buying and homeownership.
Since we have so many communities launching right now, expect overviews of those too as we break ground and even start selling. Keep an eye out for Cheval Trails in Zachary, Parks at Water Oak in Gonzales, South Creek in Denham Springs and The Settlement on Shoe Creek in Central.
How to watchEach episode of the vlog will be shared on our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube accounts. Some will also be linked in the monthly newsletter. Follow the links to like or subscribe to each account to make sure you are the first to see new uploads.
