The Alvarez Family was honored as the recipient of the 2026 St. Jude Inspiring Hope Award, recognizing their extraordinary, decades-long commitment to the children and mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
For more than 25 years, the Alvarez Family has poured their hearts, craftsmanship, and community spirit into the St. Jude Dream Home® project. Since 1999, Alvarez Construction has helped build a home each year in support of St. Jude, helping raise more than $20 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
This meaningful recognition celebrates more than a construction milestone. It reflects a lasting legacy of generosity, service, and hope for families across Louisiana and beyond.
The Alvarez Family was recognized during the 2026 St. Jude Day at the Derby, an event dedicated to supporting the lifesaving mission of St. Jude and bringing together friends, supporters, and community leaders.
