Meet Cassie
One month into the job, Cassie Babin is already making a big difference as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Alvarez Construction Company.
She is a local hire, a Louisiana State University marketing major from Brusly in West Baton Rouge Parish. She has stayed in the area since graduating and had always had an interest in the home building and construction industries.
Cassie said the company’s family atmosphere is what really sold her. Alvarez Construction Company is a locally-owned builder with more than 25 years of experience. It is now run by the second generation of the Alvarez family.
“So far I love the supportive and positive environment,” Cassie said. “Everyone is always willing to help you and make sure you are producing the best work possible, all while having a smile on their face. You never leave feeling like you did not accomplish anything that day. It is a very nice work environment to be in!”
Cassie is working closely with Director of Sales and Marketing Matthew Petty, making content for the company’s social media channels and redesigning promotional materials for use in the office, design center, and sales centers. The addition of her to the team has been vital with Alvarez Construction Company expanding into new communities and selling a record number of homes this year. Oak Colony and Phase III in Bedico Creek are scheduled to start selling this Summer. They are located in Baton Rouge and Madisonville respectively.
”We have so many new projects coming up that I get to help market to the public! Even though I am not working as a member of the sales team I feel like it is up to me to get them as many new home buyers as possible!”
When she is not working, Cassie spends time playing with her two dogs, reading, making crafts with her Cricut and taking photographs. She is also an avid traveller who has visited Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Tennessee, Florida, and so many more .
