How to Find the Right Community Amenities

The choice of a new home isn’t just the home itself. The location and its proximity to good schools, local services, and the things that make life more enjoyable play a major part in the decision. Alvarez Construction Company chooses the locations for our new home communities with a critical eye for the surrounding area. If you want to know how to find the right community amenities, start by defining what “right” means to you.

Where school is in session

Parents of children who are school-aged place particular emphasis on the quality of the schools that serve the neighborhood they’re considering. You can check GreatSchools.org to see how the schools have been rated by parents, as well as factoring in standardized test scores, graduation rates, the number of students in advanced placement, student to teacher ratio, and a variety of other factors. It also helps to ask your builder or real estate agent for information and talk to parents whose children attend those schools.

Find the fun at home
