The first will be a limited expansion in our wildly popular Fieldstone Park community in Baton Rouge. The next, expanding your options in Baton Rouge and Denham Springs with the Villas at White Oaks and South Creek, respectively. Finally, we will add a new city to the north with Cheval Trails in Zachary.
Follow the farmhouse trend to Fieldstone Park
Crisp white exteriors, oversized windows, and spacious living areas are three main features of 2020’s hottest homes. The trend started long before January, but it has reached an almost inescapable level now from television to magazines and everything in between.
We are, of course, talking about the modern farmhouse and Alvarez Construction Company is giving you the opportunity to follow the trend to Fieldstone Park in Baton Rouge.
The community, which started selling last spring, is beginning its second phase of building new construction homes. The location off Staring Lane near Highland Road gives residents quick access to good schools, quality healthcare, and the bustling excitement of Perkins Rowe or the Mall of Louisiana while still presenting the comforting privacy of a gated community.
Facebook followers got a sneak peek on January 30 when Banessa Petty led a guided tour of the new model home. Just behind the entry door, you are greeted by 12-foot ceilings and wood-like vinyl flooring that guide you through the cozy open floor plan. The home is set up with a living room, gourmet kitchen, and dining area that allow for a seamless mix of everyday practicality and entertaining flair. The quartz countertops match the double vanity in the master bathroom for a consistent, luxurious feel.
The Brighton is one of six floor plans in Alvarez’s new Modern Farmhouse series, starting at $246,990. Single-story and two-story home plans in this collection range from 1,600 to 1,900 square feet with three or four bedrooms. All homes will include the collection of high-quality standard Build Smart features. Alvarez prides itself on including a Wi-Fi-enabled Interlogix SmartHome management hub with a wireless security system, a TruVision security camera, and smoke and heat detection. A walkable site plan with mailbox centers and waterfront views will make the Villas at White Oaks a soothing escape from the hustle and bustle of south Baton Rouge. Located just off George O’Neal Road, the Villas at White Oak will be a small courtyard-styled neighborhood with just 39 homesites.
South Creek in Denham Springs will also feature some waterfront properties with expanded amenities like a children’s playground and community pier. This neighborhood is located in the heart of Livingston Parish, providing residents quick access to shopping, dining and local attractions as well as the Greystone Golf and Country Club.

Cheval Trails is another exclusively built Alvarez community. Located off Highway 964, this community will be a perfect fit for first-time home buyers. We’re planning amenities that will entertain a family and keep up an active lifestyle. Homes will start at $200,000, with plans from 1,600 square feet of total living area.
